In 2008, I started working in the IT industry as an independent. Thanks to my personal contact at GECO, the cooperation was uncomplicated, goal-oriented and at eye level. Over 9 years as an independent, I experienced a good mix of jobs. By networking with GECO, I had small businesses as my own clients as well as projects with large corporations.However, at some point, questions started to arise: Hire employees? Take a vacation for more than 5 days at a time? The call from GECO management offering me a permanent position came at the perfect time. I was delighted to accept the offer to join GECO as an Account Manager. It has been a few years since then, and it was a very good career decision. A superb team, my own responsibility and a demanding job steered me into the port of GECO Deutschland - I am now firmly docked there!
Ahoy dear youngsters, career changers and friends of kbytes and terabytes!I would definitely not want to miss the eventful, successful and simply great time time I have had at GECO since 2006! At that time, our current managing director Markus made a recruiter position appealing to me. Once I got to know the team, the decision was easy. I was immediately enthusiastic about the GECO team spirit and joined at short notice. Eight years later, I was offered the position of Head of Recruitment, which I have successfully held ever since. I feel very comfortable and in good hands with GECO. Flat hierarchies, short decision-making processes, clear and direct communication. Ahoy! I joined GECO in March 2017. In addition to my job as a DJ at the time, I learned my first steps on deck part-time in the applicant management department. I was then given the opportunity to support the crew as a lateral recruiter in Central Recruitment, where I dropped anchor in September 2017 and have been on the lookout for new employees for our customers on the open ocean ever since. I am very grateful to our captain and the entire crew that I was given this opportunity.
